 Barn Bird Kitchen is a culinary destination that celebrates classic comfort food—especially expertly crafted fried chicken—with authentic Southern American roots, enriched by Nigerian-inspired Yaji spices. Founded by Chef Emeka alongside his wife Jafrania Onugha and partner Chukah Morah, the restaurant honors African American culinary traditions while adding a modern twist. Guests enjoy an unforgettable dining experience in a “country chic” space featuring antique accents, high-end furniture, Nsibidi-inspired 10-foot walls, and abstract art that reflects the restaurant’s blend of heritage and innovation. Offering both dine-in and takeout, Barn Bird Kitchen invites patrons to savor freshly made fried chicken and sweet potato waffles, a perfect harmony of tradition, flavor, and style.
