Be advised that the County of Essex, in an effort to provide quality services to the citizens of the Township of Maplewood and South Orange, is beginning construction, to modernize Traffic Signals and Roadway Improvements at the following Intersections:

1. Valley St and 1st St, South Orange (New Signal)
2. Valley St and 3rd St, South Orange
3. Valley St and Parker Ave, Maplewood
4. Valley St and Oakland Rd, Maplewood
5. Valley St and Oakview Ave, Maplewood
6. Valley St and Tuscan Rd, Maplewood
7. Valley St and Baker St, Maplewood
8. Valley St and Millburn Ave, Maplewood
9. South Orange Ave and Prospect Ave, South Orange.
10. South Orange Ave and Ridgewood Ave, South Orange
11. Irvington Ave and Prospect Ave, South Orange

We intend to keep the impacted roadways open throughout the construction. There may be periods of time, however, when certain driveways may be inaccessible. This inconvenience will be temporary and will be controlled to the extent that it can be. The County of Essex regrets this short-term disturbance, but we are hopeful that the product will be something that the residents of the Township of Maplewood and South Orange can be proud of.
