A Redevelopment Area is proposed for properties identified on the Township’s official tax maps as Block 12.02, Lots 100, 100.01, 169, 173, 174, 175, 175.01 and 176.  The Township has completed the Redevelopment Study and drafted the Redevelopment Plan.  The Township may consider adoption of the Redevelopment Plan.

Township Action Steps: 

• The Township Committee authorized and directed the Planning Board to conduct this study by Resolution No. 88-23, adopted March 7, 2023.
• The Township Committee adopted the Investigation Study on October 2, 2023.
• The Township authorized consultants to draft a redevelopment plan.
• Two public community meetings were held in February and March 2024.
• The consultants drafted a redevelopment plan dated August 2024, after which the community and the governing body had an opportunity to provide input.
• The draft Redevelopment Plan was updated in March 2025 and most recently in August 2025. Input from community stakeholders and the governing body has been incorporated into the most recent draft.
